Terms of Service

By creating an account on Subaasiri or using any part of our platform (website, mobile app, or related services), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use Subaasiri. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Subaasiri after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice.

To use Subaasiri, you must: (a) Be at least 18 years of age. (b) Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. (c) Use the platform with genuine matrimonial intent for yourself or, where culturally appropriate, on behalf of a family member with their knowledge and consent. (d) Not have been previously banned or removed from Subaasiri. Subaasiri is designed for serious matrimonial matchmaking. It is not intended for casual dating, socializing, or any purpose other than finding a suitable marriage partner.

You must provide accurate, truthful information when creating your account and profile. This includes your name, date of birth, birth time, birth location, religion, community, and other profile details. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Subaasiri uses passwordless email-based authentication (OTP codes). Do not share your verification codes with anyone. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately at support@subaasiri.com.

Subaasiri is a matchmaking and compatibility guidance platform. We help users discover potential matrimonial matches based on traditional Sri Lankan porondam (astrological compatibility) analysis, combined with personal preferences and profile information. IMPORTANT: SUBAASIRI DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL FIND A MATCH, ENTER A RELATIONSHIP, BECOME ENGAGED, OR GET MARRIED. Compatibility scores, porondam results, dosha analysis, horoscope reports, and astrologer consultations are provided to help users make informed decisions, but the final decision to communicate, meet, continue, or marry is entirely the responsibility of the users and their families. Subaasiri is a tool to assist your search. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, and we expressly disclaim any responsibility for the success, quality, or duration of any relationship that may result from using our platform. By using Subaasiri, you acknowledge and agree that: (a) Match results and compatibility scores are informational and guidance-based, not guarantees of relationship success. (b) The decision to pursue any match is solely yours (and your family's). (c) Subaasiri is not responsible for the behavior, intentions, character, or honesty of any user. (d) No refund will be issued on the basis of not finding a match or not achieving a desired relationship outcome.

Subaasiri uses traditional Sri Lankan porondam analysis to generate compatibility scores and reports. This includes analysis of porondams (compatibility factors), doshas (astrological conditions), and other horoscope-based assessments. Astrological compatibility is provided for cultural, informational, and guidance purposes only. It should not be treated as a guaranteed prediction of marriage success, personal character, health, fertility, lifespan, or future events. Compatibility scores (such as "85% compatible" or "Excellent match") are algorithmic outputs based on traditional astrological rules. They are not scientific measurements, clinical assessments, or guarantees of any kind. Different astrologers and traditions may interpret the same horoscopes differently. Users should consider astrological compatibility as one of many factors in making matrimonial decisions, alongside personal compatibility, shared values, family considerations, and independent judgment.

Subaasiri offers a platform for users to consult with independent astrologers. These astrologers are independent practitioners, not employees or agents of Subaasiri LLC. Astrologer consultations are independent opinions based on astrological interpretation. Subaasiri does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or outcome of any consultation. Advice given by astrologers represents their professional opinion and should not be treated as factual predictions. Subaasiri is not responsible for any decisions made based on an astrologer's advice, nor for any loss, damage, or disappointment arising from a consultation. Users should exercise their own judgment and, where appropriate, seek independent professional advice.

Users are responsible for the information they provide, the decisions they make, and any communication or meeting arranged outside Subaasiri. You agree NOT to: (a) Provide false or misleading profile information. (b) Use Subaasiri for any purpose other than genuine matrimonial matchmaking. (c) Harass, abuse, threaten, stalk, or intimidate other users. (d) Send unsolicited commercial messages or spam. (e) Attempt to contact users who have blocked you or declined your requests. (f) Create multiple accounts or impersonate another person. (g) Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access Subaasiri. (h) Upload inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content. (i) Attempt to circumvent safety features, subscription restrictions, or access controls. (j) Use the platform to facilitate fraud, scams, or financial exploitation. Violation of these rules may result in account suspension or permanent ban, at Subaasiri's sole discretion.

Subaasiri uses a consent-based system for sharing sensitive profile information such as photos and detailed horoscope charts. When a user requests to view your photo or horoscope, you will receive a notification and can choose to approve or decline the request. Your information is shared only when you explicitly approve. By approving a request, you grant the requesting user permission to view that specific information. You may revoke this access at any time. Subaasiri cannot control how information is used once it has been viewed by another user (e.g., screenshots). Please share information only with users you are comfortable with.

Subaasiri offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans unlock additional features such as viewing who liked your profile, responding to connection requests, and accessing detailed match information. Subscription details: (a) Billing: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through our payment processor, Stripe. (b) Auto-renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel before the end of the current billing period. (c) Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. You will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. (d) Refunds: Refunds are generally not provided for subscription periods already accessed. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@subaasiri.com within 14 days of the charge. (e) Price changes: We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing period. (f) Free trial: If a free trial is offered, it will convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends.

All content, design, algorithms, compatibility scoring systems, branding, and software that make up Subaasiri are the intellectual property of Subaasiri LLC. You retain ownership of the content you upload (photos, profile information). By uploading content to Subaasiri, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to display it within the platform for the purpose of providing our services. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Subaasiri's proprietary content without our written permission.

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Subaasiri, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy. Please review it carefully.

Subaasiri provides privacy and safety tools including consent-based sharing, blocking, hiding, and reporting. However, users should use personal judgment and caution when communicating with or meeting anyone. Safety recommendations: (a) Never share financial information, bank details, or send money to anyone you meet on Subaasiri. (b) Meet in public places for first meetings, and inform a trusted family member or friend. (c) Report suspicious behavior or profiles immediately using the in-app reporting feature. (d) Take your time getting to know a match before sharing personal contact information. Subaasiri is not responsible for interactions that occur outside the platform.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUBAASIRI LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM: (a) Your use of or inability to use Subaasiri. (b) Any match, communication, meeting, or relationship formed through Subaasiri. (c) Any content or conduct of other users. (d) Any astrologer consultation or advice. (e) Unauthorized access to your account. (f) Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in compatibility scores or reports. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Subaasiri shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Subaasiri in the 12 months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such cases, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@subaasiri.com or using the account deletion feature in the app. Subaasiri may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including (but not limited to) violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or behavior that is harmful to other users or the platform. Upon termination, your right to use Subaasiri ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and intellectual property) will remain in effect.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Subaasiri shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
