Law Enforcement Guidelines

Last updated: 2026-09-24

1. Where to Send a Request

Subaasiri is operated by Subaasiri LLC, a limited liability company registered in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States. Requests from law enforcement should be sent to support@subaasiri.com with "Law Enforcement Request" in the subject line. Requests are reviewed by an authorised representative of the company. Please send the request on official letterhead, from an official email address of the requesting agency, and include the name, title, agency, and direct contact details of the requesting officer so that we can verify it. We do not accept requests by telephone or social media, and we cannot act on a request we are unable to verify.

3. Emergency Requests

If there is an emergency involving a danger of death or serious physical injury to any person, write to support@subaasiri.com with "EMERGENCY" at the start of the subject line. We prioritise these ahead of everything else. An emergency request should state the nature of the emergency, why the information is needed to prevent the harm, what specifically is sought, and the officer's direct contact details. Where the law permits disclosure in such circumstances, we will provide what we can without waiting for formal process. If a child is involved, say so in the subject line. This address is monitored by a small team and is not a substitute for emergency services. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number first.

4. What Information We Hold

A request is easier to answer when it asks for something we actually have. Subaasiri holds: Account records: the email address used to sign in, when the account was created, and sign-in timestamps. We do not hold passwords — sign-in is by a one-time code sent to the email address. Profile information the member entered: display name, gender, date, time and place of birth, religion, community, education, profession, country and city, height, and anything written in their own words. Astrological records: the generated birth chart, compatibility scores, and dosha analysis. Activity records: matches, likes, connection requests, photo and horoscope requests and their approvals, blocks, and reports. Communications: messages exchanged between members after both have expressed interest. Photographs the member uploaded. Payment records: subscription status, billing periods, transaction identifiers, and the outcome of payment attempts. Card numbers are held by our payment processor, Stripe, and never by us — a request for card data should go to Stripe. Technical records: IP address, device and browser information, and error and security logs. We do not hold: government identity documents, location tracking beyond what an IP address implies, contact lists, or any data from other services. When an account is deleted the data is deleted with it, other than records we are required or permitted to retain. A preservation request received before deletion prevents that.

5. Preservation Requests

If you expect to seek records through legal process but need them preserved in the meantime, send a preservation request to support@subaasiri.com identifying the account and the records concerned. On a valid request we will take reasonable steps to preserve the records available at that moment for 90 days, and extend that on a renewed request while legal process is pending. A preservation request is not a disclosure request. It stops records being deleted; it does not entitle anyone to see them.

6. Child Safety

Subaasiri is for adults: an account may only be created by a person aged 18 or over, and a date of birth under 18 is refused. Where we become aware of apparent child sexual abuse material, Subaasiri LLC removes it, preserves the relevant records, terminates the account, and reports to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement as required of us by United States law. We cooperate with follow-up requests arising from such a report. Our Acceptable Use Policy sets out the conduct that is prohibited and the action we take.

7. Notice to Members

Our policy is to notify a member when their information is requested, so that they may seek to protect their rights, unless we are prohibited from doing so by law or court order, or unless we judge that notice would create a risk of harm to a person or of destruction of evidence — for example in a child safety matter. If you require that notice be withheld, please say so in the request and state the legal basis or the circumstances relied on.

8. Making a Request Easier to Answer

Please identify the account by the email address used to sign in. A display name is not a reliable identifier — names are not unique on the platform and members may change them. Give a date range for the records sought, and state the time zone you are using. Our records are stored in UTC. Ask for a specific category of record rather than "all information", which slows a response and may be declined as overbroad. We can provide a certification of authenticity for records produced, on request. This page describes our practice. It is not legal advice, it does not waive any objection or right available to us or to our members, and it does not create any obligation beyond what the law imposes. We may update it as the law or the platform changes. Subaasiri LLC — support@subaasiri.com
