Subaasiri is a respectful matchmaking platform for serious relationships and marriage. These guidelines ensure every member has a safe and positive experience. By using Subaasiri, you agree to follow these rules.
සුබාසිරි යනු බරපතල සබඳතා සහ විවාහ සඳහා ගෞරවනීය සහකරු සෙවීමේ වේදිකාවකි. මෙම නීති සෑම සාමාජිකයෙකුටම ආරක්ෂිත, ධනාත්මක අත්දැකීමක් ලැබෙන බව සහතික කරයි.

Treat every person on this platform the way you would want your own sister, brother, daughter, or son to be treated. If you would not say it to them, do not say it here.

Be honest about who you are
Use your real name, a recent photo of yourself, and accurate information about your age, profession, and background. Fake profiles, misleading photos, or false claims about your identity are strictly prohibited.
Be respectful in every interaction
Messages should be polite, appropriate, and relevant to the purpose of this platform — finding a marriage partner. Treat others with the same courtesy and respect you expect in return.
Respect boundaries and consent
If someone declines your photo request, horoscope request, or does not reply to your message — respect their decision. Do not send repeated requests or try to pressure anyone into sharing information they are not comfortable sharing.
Keep conversations appropriate
This is a marriage-focused platform. Conversations should be respectful and relevant. Getting to know each other is encouraged — inappropriate, sexual, or offensive content is not.
Report concerns promptly
If someone makes you uncomfortable, don't hesitate to block them and report the behavior. Your report helps us protect the entire community. All reports are reviewed confidentially.
What Is Not Allowed

Harassment or intimidation
Sending threatening, abusive, or repeatedly unwanted messages. This includes pressuring someone after they have declined a request or ended a conversation.
Fake or misleading profiles
Using someone else's photos, creating multiple accounts, impersonating another person, or misrepresenting your age, marital status, or identity.
Inappropriate or sexual content
Sending sexually explicit messages, photos, or requests. Even a single violation can result in immediate and permanent account suspension.
Scams and financial requests
Asking for money, sharing financial account details, promoting businesses, or any attempt to defraud other users. Never send money to someone you have met on this platform.
Hate speech or discrimination
Demeaning or attacking someone based on their race, ethnicity, religion, caste, gender, disability, or any other characteristic. Subaasiri is a platform for all Sri Lankans.
Underage users
You must be at least 18 years old to use Subaasiri. If we discover an account belongs to a minor, it will be immediately removed and reported.
Sharing others' private information
Do not share another user's photos, horoscope details, personal information, or conversation screenshots outside the platform without their explicit consent.
How We Enforce These Guidelines

We review every report submitted by our users. Depending on the severity of the violation, we take one or more of the following actions:
- First-time minor offence (e.g. mildly inappropriate message)
- Account receives a formal warning
- Repeated warnings escalate to suspension
- Repeated minor violations or a single moderate offence
- Account is suspended for 7 to 30 days
- User is notified of the reason and duration
- Severe violations: harassment, sexual content, scams, underage accounts
- Account is permanently removed with no option to rejoin
- Reported to authorities if the violation involves illegal activity
Our promise on reports
Every report is treated confidentially. The person you report will never know who reported them. We review reports as quickly as possible — typically within 24 hours.
We err on the side of protecting the reporter. If there is any doubt, we act first and investigate further — not the other way around.
A Note for Women on Subaasiri

Your safety and comfort matter deeply to us. You are always in control of who sees your photo, who can view your horoscope, and who can contact you. No one can access your information without your explicit approval.
If anyone makes you uncomfortable — even slightly — please use the block and report buttons immediately. You do not owe anyone an explanation, and you should never feel pressured to share information or continue a conversation.
We built these features specifically to protect you: consent-based photo sharing, no phone number required, passwordless sign-in, profile hiding, and anonymous reporting. Use them freely and without hesitation.
