We take your safety seriously. Subaasiri is built with privacy and consent at the centre of every feature — from how you sign in, to who can see your photo, to how your data is stored. Here's how it works.

Your protection at a glance
Passwordless sign-in
We use one-time email verification codes instead of passwords, which removes the risk of password leaks or breaches. Every sign-in uses a fresh code sent to your email.
You control who sees you
Your photo and horoscope are never shown to anyone unless you explicitly approve their request. You decide who gets access.
Block anyone, instantly
If someone makes you uncomfortable, block them in one tap. They won't be notified, and you'll never see each other again on the platform.
No phone number required
We never ask for your phone number. Your email is your only login credential, and it's never shown to other users.
Photo sharing by consent
Other users must send you a photo request, and you must approve it before they can see your photo. The same applies to horoscope details.
Strict community standards
Harassment, inappropriate messages, and disrespectful behaviour lead to warnings, suspension, or permanent bans depending on severity. Report any concern and our team will review it.
How we protect your data
Personal information
Your birth details (date, time, and place of birth) are used solely to generate your astrological horoscope and compute compatibility with potential matches. These details are not displayed to other users on the platform.
Your display name, profession, city, and religion are shown on your match card. Your email address and birth details are not visible to other users.
Photos and horoscopes
Your profile photo and detailed horoscope chart are protected behind a consent wall. Another user must send you a request (photo request or horoscope request), and you must manually approve it before they gain access.
You can decline any request without explanation. Declined requests do not notify the sender of the reason.
Messages and conversations
Conversations are only created when both users have mutually liked each other. You cannot receive messages from someone you haven't matched with.
All messages are transmitted securely. We do not use your conversations for marketing, profiling, or any commercial purpose. Messages may only be reviewed by our safety team when a report is filed for a potential violation.
Account visibility
You can hide your profile from search results at any time from your profile settings. Hidden profiles are not shown to other users but can still view their existing matches and conversations.
You can also sign out and your profile becomes inactive until you sign in again.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored on Supabase (built on PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies — meaning database queries are scoped so each user can only access their own records. Connections use TLS encryption in transit.
No system is perfectly secure, and we won't pretend otherwise. What we can promise is that we follow responsible security practices, stay up to date, and will be transparent with you if any issue ever arises.
Account deletion
You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. To request deletion, contact us at support@subaasiri.com and we will process your request promptly.
We are working on adding a self-service account deletion option directly within the app for your convenience.
How to report a concern
If you experience harassment, see a fake profile, or feel unsafe in any way, you can report the user directly from their match card or from within a conversation. Every report is reviewed by our team.
